LLM (Large Language Model)
A neural network trained on vast text data that powers AI agents' reasoning, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
A Large Language Model (LLM) is the AI model that powers an agent's ability to understand instructions, reason about problems, write code, and make decisions. Examples include Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), and open-source models like Llama. In Mithril's ecosystem, LLMs are both the brains of the agents that use Mithril services, and also available as x402-payable services themselves — agents can call OpenRouter or Gemini on a pay-per-call basis through the Mithril Catalog.
